Church readies for community day

Tory Hill Meetinghouse is participating in community days on Aug. 7 by hosting vendors that want to set up on the church lawn and offer attic treasures, yard sale items and/or crafts.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each 10-by-10-foot space is $25. Vendors must bring their own tables and chairs. For more information, call Carolyn at 229-4960.

The church event is part of a larger community day that includes a road race, the Dorcas Society’s Classic Car and Coffee Show, a parade, an evening show by the Mallet Brothers and fireworks.
