GORHAM – On April 8, 2021 Charles W. H. Dodge of Gorham, died peacefully surrounded by his immediate family.
Charlie was born in 1929 in Rockport, the son of Donald D. and Gertrude H. Dodge. After graduating from Princeton he worked for Monsanto Chemical Company in Springfield, Mass. and then went on to work in Chemical Research and Technical Sales for S. D. Warren Company in Westbrook in 1959. He retired from S. D. Warren in 1992.
Charlie was an avid fly fisherman, bird hunter, sailor and skier. A lifelong outdoorsman, he continued to fish and hunt in Maine and Canada up through last year. He will be remembered as kind, generous and a great storyteller with a keen sense of humor.

A private memorial will be held this summer.
Funeral arrangements are with the Long Funeral Home, 9 Mountain St. Camden.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s memory can be made to the Maine conservation organization of your choice.
