Pauline J. Gordon

SACO – Pauline J. Gordon, 80, of Biddeford and formerly of Saco, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Evergreen Manor in Saco.

She was born in Attleboro, Mass. the daughter of the late Paul Goupil and Jeannette (Goupil) Butler and Stanley Butler. Pauline graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1959.

Pauline married her husband, Anthony, on Oct. 10, 1959.

Pauline was a homemaker and also worked various jobs while their children were young. She retired from Saco Biddeford Savings Bank in 2004.

Pauline liked arts and crafts. She enjoyed reading, knitting, needlepoint and cross stitch. Holidays were most important to her. She cherished each holiday, especially Christmas. The family has created many special memories that they will hold on to forever.

Pauline also loved to travel with her husband Anthony. They traveled to Ireland, Florida, California, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and several other places through the years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony L. Gordon, on Dec. 2, 2020; and by her brother, Rene A. Goupil.

She is survived by three children, Rebecca Sevigny and her husband Ron, Amy Ouellette and her husband Normand and Christian Gordon and his wife Donna; six grandchildren, Nicole Yanni, John Sevigny, Rachel Hall, Patrick Ouellette, Reed Thomas Mack Gordon and Lydia Rachel Lynn Gordon; and five great-grandchildren, Lila, Lorraine, Scarlett, Griffin and Charlotte. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy C. (Goupil) Harriman and one sister in law, Norma Goupil; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6 at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
