Gordon A. “Buddy” Smith Jr.
BUXTON – Gordon A. Smith Jr., “Buddy”, 70, passed away Saturday Nov. 27, 2021 at his home.He was born Aug. 27, 1951, to Anne and Gordon Smith Sr. Buddy graduated from Bonny Eagle High School. Buddy worked for the State of Maine DOT for many years until he retired. He also owned his own painting company.Buddy enjoyed life to the fullest, his greatest moments were spending time with his grandchildren, his sons and his dog Booger. He loved being outside, enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time at his pool with family and friends.He was predeceased by his mother Anne Smith, father Gordon Smith Sr., and brother Donald Center.He is survived by his sons Jamie Smith and wife Holly Smith of Buxton, Shawn Smith and Derek Smith both of Buxton. His two grandchildren Xavier Smith and Olivia, and sisters Sally Smith of South Carolina and Judith Gerrish of Buxton.There will be a celebration of life in May 2022.
