Steven Alan Lemieux

STEEP FALLS – Steven Alan Lemieux passed away Aug. 3, 2022 doing what he loved most, riding a motorcycle. Steven was born in Augusta on Aug. 17, 1954, to Barbara and Conrad Lemieux of South Portland. Steven graduated from South Portland High School in 1972 and had a successful career as a mechanic for Windham Correctional Center.

Zero, as he was best known to family and friends, was a man of many talents. His varied interests included, rock and gem mining, faceting, metal lathing, cowboy action shooting, reading and swimming. He had a strong character and a no-nonsense attitude and was a wonderful one of a kind husband and father.

Steven was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Lemieux and beloved son Jesse Lemieux.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Ann Lemieux, daughter Lisa Lemieux, granddaughter Kadie Ann Klehn, and his father Conrad Lemieux. He is also survived by three sisters, Kathy (Steve) Olsen, Mary Lemieux and Pam (Jay) Gerrish, one brother Timmy (Vicki) Lemieux and several nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Visiting hours will be held at the Poitras, Neal and York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St. Cornish, Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to Noon.
