Community Fest set for Tuesday  

Community Fest is set for 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St., and features a pool party, live music, food trucks, arts, crafts, basketball, pickleball, volleyball, disc golf and cornhole. Admission is free.

It’s “a great way to have some family fun before school begins again the following week,” said Greg Post, director of Community Services.

A Beatles tribute concert is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Valle Square.
