The Stephen W. Manchester Post 62 of the American Legion recently honored Edward Symbol, president of the Cornelia Warren Community Association, and Peter Wilson of Westbrook Regional Vocational Center for their assistance in improvements of post headquarters on Dunn Street.

The Warren association helped with updating heating and air conditioning, and Wilson’s students upgraded the electrical systems.

“This was a wonderful hands-on training and educational opportunity for these young people,” Dennis Marrotte, post commander, said in a press release.

Both received cherrywood plaques.
