2023 parade plans

This year’s community parade is set for Aug. 12 with the theme “Eat, Sleep, and Play Sports,” according to Town Clerk John Myers.

Angela Michie, deputy town clerk, will serve as parade co-chairperson. Community Day just so happens to  coincide with her birthday, Myers said.

Parade registrations will be accepted until Aug. 8, and are available by emailing jmyers@buxton.me.us or calling 929-6171.

Community Day will be held in conjunction with the Dorcas Fest sponsored by the Dorcas Society of Hollis and Buxton.
