Project Graduation
Gorham High School’s class of 2023 Project Graduation is underway and donations are sought to provide students with a fun Graduation night of substance-free activities.
Checks can be made payable to Gorham High School. The envelope should be marked “Attention: Project Graduation” and mailed to the school at 41 Morrill Ave., Gorham, ME 04038.

The American Journal reported on Feb. 28, 1973, that Patricia Ahlquist was the director at the newly organized library in the educational building at the South Gorham Baptist Church. Helen Marsh was the first to borrow a book.
U.S. taxpayer debt
The Treasury Department reported on Feb. 16 that the U.S. public debt was $31,456,554,630,496.28.
