James Frederick Andrews, 76, surrounded by family, left this world to be with our Lord and savior on March 23, 2023.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, to the late Robert Stanley and Harriet (Drury) Andrews on April 14, 1946.

Jim enjoyed playing golf and watching football. His family meant the world to him. He loved spending time with his grandsons, from playing with Brady to helping teach Derek how to drive.

Jim also loved spending time with his church family, volunteering wherever they needed him.

He was very proud of the awards he received from the time he spent with the Lions Club in Westminster, Massachusetts. Lions Club Presidents Award for exceptional leadership and devoted service as well as the Joseph J. Camarda Fellowship Award for Dedicated Humanitarian Service.

He lived in Westminster for 26 years and then in Lyman for 20 years.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his siblings, Claire Andrews Glennon Lonsdale, Robert Andrews, and John Andrews.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Sue, of 46 years. His sons Andrew Desrosiers and wife Donna of Rochester, New Hampshire, and Adam Andrews and wife Laura of Kennebunk. As well as his grandsons Derek Charland of Rochester and Brady Andrews of Kennebunk.

Services will be held April 1, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 138 York St. (Route 1), Kennebunk.

In lieu of flowers Jim has requested donations to be made in his memory to St. David’s Episcopal Church Maintenance Fund, 138 York St. (Route 1), Kennebunk, ME 04043; or St. Jude’s at www.STJUDE.org.
