Robert “Rob” Anton Petterson

FARMINGTON, N.H. / WINDHAM – Robert “Rob” Anton Pettersen, 56, passed away June 8, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Worcester, Mass. Rob was vibrant, friendly, with an active lifestyle. He had a larger-than-life personality and was often seen in perpetual motion. He was generous to those he loved and touched the lives of many from the East to West Coast.

Robert was born in Portland to the late Reidar and Patricia Pettersen of Windham/South Portland. He grew up in Windham where he graduated from Windham High School.

He was predeceased by his sister, Pamela Pettersen-Hagen.

Rob’s passion was riding motorcycles. He was a 30-plus year member of the Mountain Men Motorcycle Club and served as past chapter president in various MMMC chapters in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, as well as past National President. He was a decades long member of NHMRO. He worked through his club to serve the community with charitable contributions such as, annual local food pantry food drives, and Toys for Tots. He donated generously to the Meals on Wheels organization in honor of his mother.

His other passions were gourmet cooking, gardening, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family members from all facets of his life.

Robert is survived by the love of his life, fiancé, Shawna Collins; sister, Wanda, her husband Thomas Paige; relatives Michael and Alyssa and Silas Paige, Michelle Patton, Todd and Karen Barlow, Kim and Jim Lynch, William Barlow, Scott Frisco, Lukas Hutchins; He will be missed by his large Norwegian family.

Visitation hours on Saturday, June 15, 10 to 12 p.m., followed by Funeral service 12 p.m. at Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central St., Farmington, N.H. Burial will be private.
