Having served six years on the Gray Town Council, I have worked with candidate Teresa Pierce and wholeheartedly endorse her reelection. Teresa is smart, thoughtful and detail-oriented. She is a strong advocate for women’s rights and will continue to ensure women receive the vital health care they need without interference.
Her best qualities are her ability to listen and her true concern for and desire to understand the needs of each town she represents. She always made time to meet with council and town reps to discuss Gray’s priorities and challenges. Every meeting started with “How can I help?” She took the time to listen, review materials provided, follow up with questions and loop back to discuss viable solutions for addressing our priorities.
Pierce is a strong public servant for Gray, and I encourage voters to reelect her to Senate District 25.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
