Susan “Susie” Mosher
WELLS – Susan “Susie” (Hallczuk) Mosher, 68, of Wells, beloved sister, aunt, and friend of many passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2025 at her home.
Born in Biddeford on Feb. 16, 1957 to Michael and Thelma (Broad) Hallczuk, Susie lived her childhood years and many adult years in the Biddeford-Saco area until moving into her much loved forever home in Wells. She hosted many family and friend gatherings in her Well’s home, including her famous lobster bakes and many family Christmas celebrations. Susie loved her family and friends, and greatly enjoyed opening her home to anyone.
In her 20s, she enjoyed racing her catamaran with the Hobie Cat-Fleet-231.
Susie retired from Fairchild/Texas Instruments after 37 years of employment. After her retirement she moved on into the antique business. She enjoyed attending auctions and buying and selling antique glass, linens, and other items which she sold at BoMar Antiques in Wells. She took great delight in setting up her booth and creatively displaying her cherished items.
Susie loved baking, canning, and gardening. Many people have been blessed by her gifts of cookies, candies, jams and preserves, and flowers from her gardens. She also dearly loved her cocker spaniels.
Susie leaves behind sisters Diane Smith and Lynn Tilson, brothers Frank Hallczuk and Ryan Hallczuk; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jim Diggles.
She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Thelma (Broad) Hallczuk; and siblings Margaret “Peggy” Minihan, Sharron Tarbox, and Michael Hallczuk Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
