Although there are many terrific articles in the Press Herald, I am lately missing your reviews of local theater and the Portland Symphony. I imagine those arts organizations are missing the potential tickets those might have sold. I hope you can find a way to bring these back.
That being said, I am very impressed at the quality and thoroughness of your stories, whether news or features, whether from the AP or Press Herald staff. I’ve always loved to read the work of certain reporters such as Ray Routhier, Randy Billings and Leslie Bridgers, to name a few, but recently I came across wonderful reporting with new (at least to me) bylines: on the Mainers who delivered letters and packages to immigrants in Burlington, Mass., on the Dostie murder case, the multinational Thornton Academy tennis team, Troy Jackson, and the tractor safety school for young teens.
Wow! Keep up the good work.
