I’m writing to express my strong support for Mark Vigliotta in the race for Maine Senate District 33. Mark has a sincere understanding of working people and the challenges they face every day; he has spent most of his life working on the shop floor. He understands these challenges firsthand because he’s lived them.
Mark has an established background in the labor movement, where he consistently stands up for workers’ rights and fights for good-paying jobs with benefits. He knows what is needed to balance the rising costs of property taxes, healthcare, childcare and everyday living expenses, because he has spent years listening to and advocating for families across Sanford, Waterboro, Lebanon and Alfred.
Mark’s diverse professional experience gives him a practical, real-world perspective that is often missing in politics. I admire his commitment to running as a Clean Elections candidate. It is hard work that proves he is focused on representing people rather than corporate interests. Hard work is in Mark’s wheelhouse.
Our district deserves a senator who will listen, show up and fight for us. Mark Vigliotta has proven he is that person.
