YARMOUTH – Lynda Palmer Conner passed away peacefully on Jan. 10, 2026, at The Cedars in Portland, Maine. Lynda was supported by many friends, neighbors and family during her illness.

She was born on May 20, 1941, in South Portland, a daughter of Marie Montefusco. Lynda graduated from South Portland High School in 1959 and went on to earn her associate’s degree in business management at Westbrook Junior College in 1961. Following graduation, she was employed by New England Telephone Company where she retired as a supervisor.

Lynda married her best friend, Charlie Conner, in October 1965, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of The Episcopal Church of St. Mary in Falmouth, where she attended services on a regular basis and was involved in church activities.

She loved going to nice restaurants with friends, travelling, dancing, exercising, and playing tennis.

She is survived by her cousin, Jean Moulton of Kennebunkport.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 1, at Pine Grove Cemetery, 9 Waites Landing Rd., Falmouth, followed by a luncheon at the Episcopal Church.
