I am writing to support Dan Sayre for District 34 senator. I’ve known him for years and he’s been my representative for the past two terms. Sayre is a reasonable and responsible person. And he’s humble — something we don’t always find in a political person. Sayre is the first one to admit that he doesn’t have all the answers. But he is smart, energetic and willing to work with anyone to explore potential answers. And, he won’t decline ideas simply because they don’t come from “the right side.”
One thing that informs Sayre’s votes are the four generations of his family that now live in Maine. He is personally aware how his decisions will affect Mainers from birth to old age. And he will ensure they will all be heard.
