A Bradford woman has been identified as the person who died in a two-vehicle crash in Glenburn last week.

Linda Burrill, 65, died of injuries she sustained during the collision, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post Friday.

The sheriff’s office responded to the crash at the intersection of Hudson (Route 221) and Pushaw roads in Glenburn around 10:15 a.m. May 26.

Investigators determined that an SUV traveling southbound on Hudson Road attempted to take a left-hand turn onto Pushaw Road and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck hauling a trailer, the sheriff’s office said.

Burrill, a passenger in the SUV, was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead before arrival, the sheriff’s office said in a news release the day of the crash. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while two occupants of the pickup truck were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation, the sheriff’s office said Friday.
