I’m proud to be a Democrat. While Republicans continue to bow to Donald Trump and accept his transgressions — allegations of rape, sexual assault and constant lies — Democrats have drawn a line in the sand over Graham Platner.
Many Maine Democrats continued to support Platner while multiple skeletons came marching out of his closet. I’m not proud of that. But finally Platner reached a point where we could go no further with him.
Morals, integrity and character: Democratic Party — yes, Republican Party — sadly, no.
