Local students are members of the Cheverus High School Debate Team that won the first-place sweeps trophy at the Brunswick High School tournament on Jan. 6. Nineteen Cheverus debaters competed in Lincoln-Douglas debate, Public Forum and Policy debates.

Individual winners included Joe Rodrigues ’08 of Westbrook.
