The Westbrook American reported on March 21, 1962, that Bernard Rines, Owen Martin, Fred Willis and Ernest Todd Jr. were named to the town’s budget committee on the motion of veteran Selectman Austin Alden at town meeting in the high school gym. Leon Sanborn was moderator.
