Caroline C. Simms, daughter of Don and Claudette Simms of Gray, was married to William J. Haun, son of William and Lisa Haun of South Windsor, Conn., at St. Patrick’s Church in Washington, D.C., on May 26.

Maid of honor was Ms. Angelique Parlove. Readers were Ms. Christy Paavola and Ms. Sara Haun, sister of the groom. Best man was Michael Sanzo. Ushers were Devon Cafazzo and Russell Simms, brother of the bride.

The bride attended Yarmouth High School and is an honors graduate from American University in Washington, D.C., earning a bachelor’s degree in public communications and a minor in justice. She is a director at DCI Group, a District of Columbia-based public affairs firm.

Haun attended South Windsor High School, graduated with honors from American University and earned his juris doctorate with honors from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. He is an attorney-adviser to a federal judge at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C.

Following a luncheon reception at 1789 Restaurant in Georgetown, and an evening reception at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., the couple honeymooned in Carmel Valley, Calif., and make their home in Chevy Chase, Md.
