
She was born in Biddeford on Feb. 22, 1920, a daughter of Hiram and Linnie (Payne) Worthley. She was educated in Biddeford schools. She married her husband Armand on June 17, 1939.
Arlene was employed by Allied Hampshire and Nike, retiring in 1982.
She was an avid reader and interested in all current events. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club in Saco.
Mrs. Caouette was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Armand, on May 12, 1999; and by one brother.
She is survived by: two sons, Donald Caouette and his wife Teri of Portland, and Raymond Caouette and his wife Janet of Belmont, New Hampshire; two daughters, Rochelle Zapanta and her husband Al of Irving, Texas, and Margaret Edwards and her husband Bruce of Saco; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A visiting hour will be 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James Street, Saco, with a funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
