
She was born May 4, 1935, in Biddeford, a daughter of Joseph and Germaine (Lemieux ) Labbe, and was educated locally.
On Jan. 24, 1953, she married Gaston H. Laflamme in St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford; they were blessed with six children. When her family was grown, she worked for a few years at the Pepperell Manufacturing Co.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Albert Laflamme in 1975; a grandson, Joseph in 2005; and by Gaston, her husband of 59 years on June 26, 2012.
Surviving are: a daughter, Marion Hanson and her husband, Joe of Saco, with whom she had resided; sons, Gerard Laflamme and his wife, Mary of Lee, Massachusetts, Richard Laflamme of Kennesaw, Georiga, Patrick Laflamme and his wife, Karen of Cumming, Georgia, and Stephen Laflamme and his wife Lisa of Kennesaw, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
