TOPSHAM— The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade baseball team dropped a close 10-7 decision to Lewiston on Friday.
Tied 7-7 in the final frame, Lewiston’s Cooper St. Hilare doubled to deep left field to knock in the winning runs. Mike Dymkey led the Blue Devil offense with three hits.
Mt. Ararat was led by Lucas Holman with three hits. Repeat hitters for the Eagles were Parker Bate, Brady Merrill, Ryan Staples and Conner Vashon.
Holman and Vashon pitched well for Mt. Ararat.
