BATH — Lincoln Academy turned a halftime tie into a 10- point third-quarter lead en route to a 51-41 victory over Morse in high school boys freshman basketball action on Tuesday at Bath Middle School.

Cole Leeman had 17 points for the Eagles, while Brandon Jewett added 14. Lincoln Academy was four of 14 at the charity stripe.

Juwan Moore had nine points, and Aidan Brillard and Brendan Harper eight each for Morse, which finished five of 16 at the freethrow line.

On Saturday at Waldoboro, the Shipbuilders fell to Medomak Valley 47-36.

Morse trailed 13-8, 28-16 and 41-24 at the breaks.

Brillard and Tyler Young scored eight points each and Moore added seven in the loss.
