TOPSHAM — Ryan Mello and Peter Lavain combined to score 18 points as the Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Oak Hill 47-28 on Thursday.
Mello had 10 points, Lavain eight and Corson Swan five to pace the Eagles, who also received four points each from Tanner Greenleaf, Kyle Brennan, Garrett Moody and Zach Caouette. Michael Rogers played well.
DJ Pushard paced Oak Hill with nine points.
