BATH — The Team Angela “Get Your Pink On” Silent Auction Fundraiser is scheduled to be held on Oct. 4 at the Taste of Maine Restaurant from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will feature an evening of entertainment with Max and John Ater, cash bar, food, raffles and a silent auction.
All funds will go to the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.
Team Angela consists of family and friends of Angela Marie Black, who passed away on Aug. 16 from cancer at the age of 39.
Angela’s dream for this year’s Dempsey Challenge was to have a team of 50 participants and raise $20,000. The team currently consists of 100 members and the goal has been taken to $30,000.
Items for the auction are greatly appreciated and accepted.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
