TURNER — Leavitt High School used a 15-hit attack and Kaitlyn Deblois smashed a two-run homer as the Hornets rolled over Morse with a 13-0 win in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference softball game on Wednesday.
The Hornets (7-4) reeled off six runs in the first inning and erupted with another four in a five-inning game shortened by the Mercy Rule. Abby Robertson pitched the three-hit shutout, striking out four.
Angela Daigle doubled twice for Leavitt, and Emily Perkins doubled, tripled and had a single.

Hall-Dale pitcher Becca Acherson scattered five hits and scored a run on a wild pitch to edge host Lisbon in Mountain Valley Conference play.
Kayla Johnson and Megan Levasseur each recorded an RBI and single each for the Bulldogs.
Kailyn Hill took the mound for Lisbon (3-8 and scheduled to travel to Monmouth for a 2:30 p.m. doubleheader on Friday).
Monica Austin and Kailyn Hill (RBI) each collected a pair of hits for the Greyhounds, who stranded eight runners. Jenna Clifford had an RBI and Jasmin Le a hit.

Visiting Messalonskee scored four runs in the fourth and seven in the fifth en route to a five-inning Mercy Rule KVAC win on Wednesday.
Mt. Ararat dipped to 2-8 and is scheduled visit Skowhegan today in makeup action.
Kristen Pelletier allowed two hits with five strikeout and no walks.
Alana Weaver went four innings for the hosts with no strikeouts and two walks, and Rhianna Hersey finished up with no strikeouts and two walks.
Katelyn Cox and Sarah Lamb each singled in the loss.
For Messalonskee (6-4), Kylee Knight went 2-for-4 with a double and triple, Taylor Easler and Delaney Collier a single and double each, and Kristy Prelgovisk and Kristen Pelletier two hits each.

Vanessa Lee struck out five for the Falcons, but the host Lakers scored the lone run in the sixth inning for a Western Maine Conference win at Naples.
Samantha Marucci’s single with the bases loaded provided the only run as Lake Region improved to 6-6.
Ashley Clark struck out 10 for the win and allowed just two hits. She retired the final 13 Freeport (2-9) hitters.
Lee walked five and allowed a like number of hits. Freeport is slated to host Poland on Friday.
