Cellardoor Winery closed its tasting room on Middle Street Sunday.

Cellardoor announced the move on their Instagram page last Friday. Owners could not be reached immediately to comment on the reasons behind the closure.

Cellardoor Winery is based in Lincolnville, where it has a seasonal tasting room barn slated to reopen Mother’s Day weekend. Cellardoor’s Portland tasting room had been located at 127 Middle St. since 2021. Prior to that, Cellardoor operated a large tasting room and event space on Thompson’s Point from 2016-2020.
