The Westbrook American reported on June 4, 1956, that Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ginn of Preble Street in Gorham observed their 46th wedding anniversary on June 1. In Westbrook, Luther Small was installed as commander of the Stephen Manchester Post of the American Legion and Virginia Arsenault as president of the post auxiliary.
