Biddeford Police Department honors overdose awareness day
Thursday, August 31 was International Overdose Awareness Day – and Maegan Lambert-Irish, from the Biddeford Police Department, invited community members to decorate luminaria for loved ones who have died of an overdose. The lanterns were lit that evening and lined up along Alfred Road.
Biddeford City Council discusses management of Pearl Street parking garage
City council members voted in favor of making a stabilization payment of nearly $200,000 last week to cover operational costs of the Pearl Street garage. The council also met via Zoom with a representative from Premium Parking, the management company that oversees the garage.
