Biddeford residents asked to watch what they place in curbside recycling
The city's recycling contamination rate is nearly 20 percent, and for that was assessed a $4,370 fee. The city is asking residents to leave Christmas lights, shoes, knife blocks, food and other non-recyclable items out of recycle bins.
