Skowhegan rallies for Alpine title

MARS HILL — Skowhegan staged a comeback to win the Class A boys Alpine ski championship Wednesday morning at Big Rock. The Indians started the day in third place, but put all four skiers in the top 20 to beat Mt. Blue by four points.

Strong start for Mt. Abram

The Mt. Abram girls overwhelmed the competition Thursday on the opening day of the Mountain Valley Conference ski championships. The Roadrunners took a commanding lead, 38-102, over Mountain Valley after two events at Saddleback Mountain and the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center.
