Sunshine Alpacas of Maine on Flaggy Meadow Road, Gorham, hosted an open farm day Sunday.

The farm, owned by Shawn and Lora Malloy, attracted about 100 visitors over the weekend. Guests received upclose and personal visits with animals in their pens and pastures.

The Malloys have 32 alpacas, five llamas, two Shelty dogs, rabbits, a parrot, chickens and fish.

“People say we’re the Gorham zoo,” Lora Malloy said.

The Malloys also process fiber into yarn in their mill for other producers around the country.
