(Flags) – A flag snaps in the breeze Sunday in Gorham while Bob Lieberum of Gorham Lions, standing in a bucket lift on Main Street, moves tree branches aside. Norman Wedge of the Lions said the club bought 25 flags and the Galen Cole Foundation in Bangor donated 25 more to decorate Main, South and State streets in Gorham Village. It marks the first time for Gorham that flags were placed on the poles.

(Flags 2) – Lending a hand to Gorham Lions Club, Rick Emery of Buxton volunteers his time and his electrical business’s truck to hang flags Sunday on utility poles along South Street. Watching from the ground are Lions Club members Jim Burnham, left, and Ash Pike.
