Free gazebo concert

The Royal River Philharmonic Jazz Band will be in concert 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, on the lawn at Gorham Public Safety, 270 Main St.

The public is invited to take lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy the concert sponsored by Gorham Recreation Department.

University graduates

Two Gorham residents graduated this spring from Franklin Pierce University in Ringe, N.H.

Kim P. Hart received a degree in fine arts, and Ian Delafeild Stuart received a degree in management.

King on dean’s list

Garrett King was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.

The university said King, a sophomore, is a undeclared liberal arts major.

Dance and drum

The Centre of Movement School of Performing Arts, 19 State St., has announced upcoming activities.

Events include Dance Intensive, ages 12 and up with four years experience, 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday, July 28, through Friday, Aug. 1.

A drum circle will be 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, at the school’s Limington location on Route 25 (six-tenths of a mile west of the Standish-Limington line).
