FREEPORT — Rebecca Wold, 50, died April 26 at her home.

She was born in Gainesville, Fla., Sept. 13, 1958, a daughter of Henry and Virginia (Parker) Armstrong.

She graduated from Principia College, in Elsah, Ill. in 1980.

On March 26, 1983, she married Larry Wold in Mt. Dora, Fla.

For over 20 years, she worked as a goldsmith for Brown Goldsmith’s of Freeport.

She was a passionate volunteer in the Freeport school system, helping with event coordination and fundraising, and serving on the board of the PTO.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of Freeport; two sons, Brian Wold and Eric Wold of Freeport, a daughter, Lindsay Wold of Freeport; her father, Henry Armstrong of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Michael Armstrong and his wife Wendy of Miami, Fla., two sisters, Sharon Smith and her husband Greg of Orlando, Fla., Lynn Marriott of St. Augustine, Fla; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration of her life will be announced at a later date by the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
