Bonny Eagle High School is searching for a new athletic director and assistant principal after accepting the resignation of Mike LeGage.

SAD 6 Superintendent Suzanne Lukas said LeGage had decided to return to teaching – an option he arranged with the district when he accepted an administrative post two years ago.

According to Lukas, LeGage will be teaching physical education in the fall.

“He put in two great years,” Lukas said, adding that the school district is now accepting applications to replace him.

LeGage did not return calls seeking comment Wednesday.
