PORTLAND – Police said they recovered 61 of 78 computers that were stolen from the Ocean Avenue school that’s under construction.

The computers were recovered when police served a search warrant on a house on Irving Street Friday night. The other 17 computers are still missing and police said they have likely been sold.

While serving the search warrant, police said they also found marijuana growing in the residence and they seized 12 marijuana plants.

No arrests were made and police said their investigation is continuing.

The computers were reported missing Thursday. School officials said the computers had been stored in a locked classroom before being installed in the school. The stolen computers were 33 IMacs and 45 Apple MacBooks and were valued at $60,000.

The computers were insured.
