GORHAM – Gorham police have arrested a Portland man for threatening the Gorham code enforcement office on a social networking website.

Michael Salvaggio Jr., 35, turned himself in to Gorham police Wednesday after the threatening message, directed at a code office staff member in the form of a photo, came to the attention of authorities.

Salvaggio was transported to Cumberland County Jail, where he posted bail and was released. His bail conditions prohibit him from possessing any firearms and from entering any government building in Gorham.
