TOPSHAM — Edward Duer “Ned” Reeves Jr., 77, formerly of Summit, NJ, passed away quietly at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, Maine, on Friday, December 23, 2011. A graduate of The Pingry School and Williams College, Ned worked for Tenco, a division of Coca Cola, before starting his own business, Templar Foods, in 1974. One of the last great gentlemen, Ned was kind and loving and made friends wherever he went. A wonderful husband and father, Ned loved his family, and enjoyed fly fishing, traveling, leading a Boy Scout troop, and walking his dogs. He was an elder at Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, NJ and a member of the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad for many years.

He was the son of the late E. Duer and Elsie ( Kean) Reeves and is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ann; children Katherine (Jay) Ross, Duer (Lisa) Reeves, Disty ( Tom) Lengel, Amanda (Steve) Ford, Charles (Holly Cluse) Reeves, his sister Beatrice (Jim) Taylor of Bozeman, MT, 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by his sisters, Mabyn Martin and Elva Davis. Ned will be missed greatly by all family and friends.
