PORTLAND — CBRE / The Boulos Company, committed to the advancement of its talented professionals in both the community and the organization, recently promoted Drew Sigfridson to principal.

According to a news release, Sigfridson joined CBRE / The Boulos Company as an assistant broker in 1998, and with his 13 years in the industry has provided clients with innovative solutions to the most complex real estate transactions. He has adopted a leadership role within the company as a designated broker.

In addition, he has established himself in leadership roles in local trade and charitable organizations, including Avesta Housing and the Maine Real Estate & Development Association, where he is currently a board member.

“We are actively taking steps to develop and encourage the next generation of leaders in the state and our industry,” said Morris Fisher, president of the Boulos Company. “Drew has already been recognized as a talented professional and he is a great example of the entrepreneurial spirit that we are looking to cultivate to continue to foster and grow our economy here in Maine.”

In 2005, Sigfridson was selected as one of Realtor Magazine’s 30 Under 30 and was voted Maine Commercial Realtor of the Year by his peers in 2006. Last year, he was awarded Maine Today’s inaugural 40 Under 40 Award.

Sigfridson is a graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick and lives in Portland.
