BRUSWICK — Comprehensive mental health care is available for people experiencing or coping with a mental illness or substance abuse addiction through Sweetser’s Same-Day Access.
A spokesperson for Sweetser explained in a news release, “We present Same- Day Access to allow ease of engaging in mental health and substance abuse services. By offering same-day availability for initial assessments people are better able to get the assistance they need on the very day they are seeking it, and in a manner more convenient to their schedule.”
To take advantage of Same- Day Access, contact Sweetser Promise Line at 1-800-434-3000 and answer brief screening questions.
Eight Sweetser locations, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — including Bangor, Belfast, Bridgton, Brunswick, Lewiston, Rockland, Saco, Sanford and Wilton — will also provide Same-Day Access.
