Phyzgig, the year-end series of vaudeville shows produced by Westbrook-based Acorn Productions,will use multiple venues this year to present all its performances.
At the Acorn Studio Theater, Dana Warp Mill, 90 Bridge St., in Westbrook, matinees are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 29, and Sunday, Dec. 30. Saturday’s shows, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., feature Tom Murphy, slapstick solo clowning; Antonio Rocha, zany characters; and Michael Trautman, preposterous ping-pong imponderables and more.
Sunday’s shows, at 1 and 3 p.m., feature Alexander Foolovsky, sight gags; Ray: Big Ball Juggler; and Phil Smith, sleight-of-hand skills.
Tickets to the Westbrook performances are $14 adults, $12 students and seniors and $10 kids 12 and under. Other shows are scheduled in Portland at Portland Stage Company, 25A Forest Ave., and SPACE Gallery, 538 Congress St.
