BATH — Smith-Tobey Post picked up two Cal Ripken Baseball wins in recent action.

In an interleague Cal Ripken Major Division 5-2 win over Brunswick’s GM Wild in Bath, Smith-Tobey pitching did not allow a hit and received offensive support from Isaak Flaming, who was 3-for-3 with two doubles and a single.

Jackson Walker had two doubles, Thomas Warren a triple and Kaleb Jackson a single.

Warren fanned six in two innings, Flaming three in two innings and Walker four in two innings.

Noah Goddard of GM Wild pitched four solid innings, striking out eight and giving up two runs.

The long ball helped lead Smith- Tobey to a 13-0 victory over Sharon Drake.

Walker blasted his first ever home run deep over the left field fence and added a single, and Flaming also got in on the home run action, smashing a home run and adding two doubles to pace the winners.

Warren was 3-for-3 with two doubles and a single, and Asa Hodgdon 2-for-3 with a double and a single. Ethan Testa’s bat came alive, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a single, while Josiah Yeaton added two singles and Jackson a double.

Smith-Tobey received an standout pitching performance from Warren, who struck out 11 in four innings. Jackson made a sterling catch in center field and Walker made a nifty play at second.

Sharon Drake’s offense was led by Joe Guenther with two singles, and Brogan Shaw a double. The defense was led by Brenton Cahill, who made several fine catches in center field, and Jack Leonard at second base.

Nicco Bartone pitched four solid innings, striking out eight.
