A Wells Public Library Lunch and Learn with the Victoria Mansion of Portland’s curator is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7 at noon. Come to learn about the history of the Victoria Mansion, and see photos from different time periods and listen to how the staff prepare the mansion for the holiday season and the influx of visitors. Feel free to bring a lunch, while the library will provide drinks and desserts.

Saturday, Nov. 8

The annual Fall Fair at St. George Episcopal Church, 3 Emerson St. in Sanford, will be Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Available will be a baked goods table, jewelry, crafts, knitted and sewn items, “Grandma’s Attic,” and the Children’s Christmas Corner, offering gift items for children to purchase for family members, such as candles, stationery, calendars, small tools, mugs and more. These items will be sold for under $1 and will include gift wrapping. There will also be a gift basket raffle. For more information, call 324-8119.

A bean supper will be held at First Parish Congregational Church, corner of Beach and Main streets in Saco, on Nov. 8 from 5-6:30 p.m. The menu includes pea beans, kidney beans, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, brown bread, dinner rolls, coleslaw, desserts and beverages.

A hunter’s breakfast will be held on Nov. 8 from 4:30-11 a.m. at North Saco Congregational Church, corner of Flag Pond, Heath and Rocky Hill roads in Saco. The menu will include beans, eggs, bacon, homefries, pancakes, toast, pie, coffee and juice. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children.

Sunday, Nov. 9

The Life Choice Grief Support Group is held the second Sunday of every month, from noon to 1 p.m., at St. Andre Health Care Facility, 407 Pool St., Biddeford. It is free and open to all.
