BIDDEFORD — Susan Gorman, 63, of Mount Vernon Street, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, April 22, 2016.

She was born Oct. 19, 1952, in Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph H. Gorman Jr. and Jane Beyer.

Susan was a graduate of Wells High School, and later in life received her degree from the University of Maine. She was very proud to be the first in the family to be a college graduate.

She spent her youth in Wells and lived for several years in Ogunquit, where she raised her daughter, Jamie Gray. During these years, she could be found either on the beach with her daughter or at the Blue Water Inn, where she worked for many summer seasons.

From a very young age, Susan had a talent and a passion for art. During her lifetime, she created countless beautiful pieces of art, from traditional watercolors to abstract oils and everything in between. Her art will live on.
