Blue Spruce Farm developer Risbara Bros. Construction is hosting a public meeting regarding the proposed second phase of its subdivision next Wednesday, July 13, at 6 p.m. at the Husson College Southern Maine campus on 340 County Road in Westbrook.

The campus is not far from the company’s project off Spring Street. Phase 2 of the project proposes a mix of single family homes, duplexes, market rate apartments and condominiums, as well as a mixed-use commercial building and a park on approximately 42.1 acres of land on the northerly side of the Stroudwater River.

The meeting is being held as part of the process for the city of Westbrook’s local review, along with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s process to review the project for issuance of a site location permit.

A public notice of the meeting said the developers will present the subdivision plans and “seek further public comment and neighborhood feedback.”

Plans for the site and architectural sketches for the proposed residences will be presented. For more information, contact Risbara Bros. at 883-5528.

A Westbrook Planning Board site walk on the property is also scheduled for Saturday, July 16 at 9 a.m., and is open to the public.
