For many years, my life’s work has been in the field of helping young people aspire to a brighter future. Part of that effort is connecting them to good mentors.

A good mentor helps build lifelong relationships that impact our young people so they can become successful, productive citizens of our community.

There are many people I interact with every day who exemplify these values that are so important in my line of work. One of these people happens to represent me in the Maine House of Representatives.

Democrat Andrew McLean is a role model for our community. He lives out his values every day: kindness, compassion, dedication, a strong work ethic and an ability to build relationships with others, especially those he may disagree with (a value that is particularly important for me).

Gorham is lucky to have Andrew representing District 27 at the State House. I enthusiastically support his re-election.
